What is a Panorama photo (aka Pano)?

Think of a standard smartphone photo as looking through a tiny window—you only see what is directly in front of you. A panorama (or "Pano"), on the other hand, is like opening up a massive bay window

that curves all the way around you. It is a wide, continuous photo that captures an entire sweeping view of a space—from far left to far right—all stitched together into one single, wide image file.
